So, it seems that using soft patching that I can now setup a second mixer for a completely different mix for broadcast???
I think I'm seeing this rignt... If I plug in a series 3 16 channel mixer, I can patch using "network" to patch the FOH mixer channel to channel to my 2nd mixer?? Is that right? Then the outputs on the 2nd board would be a completely independent mix... yes?? Or... no? Thanks. |
I think that it should work if I understand it correctly. Keep in mind that the preamp gain is shared between the mixers so it's not 100% independent.

Dang! So close... I hope this is a priority. I know DAW was a huge task, and took many months to complete. I hope this one is quick. I need it big time. I didnt really expect it on this release, but I saw the AVB assign menu, so I got hopeful.

I don’t know if that’s in the works.
What, I believe, will work is two consoles daisy-chained by up to three of the new NSB stage boxes. The stage boxes offer two AVB sends (with gain compensation) per input for a shared input scenario. The gain compensation should ensure independent input levels for each of the consoles. |
Well this does work now, but I ended up using 1 32 mixers and a 32R as stagebox instead of just 2 32 mixers. I was having issues with the output volume being way lower than it should of been. We didn't have enough time to really trouble shoot and find a answer, but going to 1 mixer fixed the volume issue.
