Do the physical mix outputs correspond to the Mix 1, Mix 2, etc. buttons on the console?

In other words, when Mix 1 is selected, is the output always sent to the Mix 1 XLR output? Is this the case when the mix is a subgroup or matrix, too?

I can't find any way to route the Mix outputs, which I would have expected.
