I'm starting a new tour in April. Can I count on that the new StudioLive 16 with an additional 8 or 16 preamp box will be available in Denmark or Germany? I need it asap.

I need an upgrade from my old 24.4.2, and I would rather go for a new Presonus than a Midas og Behringer console...

They have said a preliminary q2 release for the stageboxes and that the sl16 has a preliminary shipping date of march/april so I'd say that getting things ready for your april tour would be quite problematic.

There should be some 3rd party stageboxes ready for the new StudioLive series III. I'm pretty sure I saw that in an earlier reply. Tour start is late April, so I cross my fingers that Thomann or 4Sound will get the console before the end of that month.

Presonus, Please, ship the consoles If the hardware is rock solid. I will love to update the firmware myself!

Quotes from Ray Tantzen. He is speaking of USA, Europe is always some weeks later. Thomann does not list the new SL series yet. There will be no "third party stageboxes" because the AVB "second generation" is a unique PreSonus development, which even is not compatible to AVB "first generation" (SL and RM AI boards). Of course you can use the new mixers without digital snakes.

will the new stage boxes support Cat6 or just Cat5?

Cat6 and Cat5 are interchangeable. Cat6 is more reliable at high data rates/long distance.

I hope you're right Ray. Mine's paid for and I'd hate to have to cancel the order. I'm looking forward to giving is a shot. The band is also excited about the potential Live Recording possibilities for our shows. Thanks for the update.

Ray, this is very disturbing. I have patiently waiting for the SL III 16 to come out. All the material has said the 16 will come with Studio One Pro. I already get S1 Artist from buying a $150 Audio Box 22 VSL interface.

The price of the SL III 16 went from $1699 to $1999 and the feature material said S1 Pro for that $400 increase.

I will not be buying the SL III 16 if you now reverse course and only ship with Artist , not Pro. I already have Artist.

You must reconsider.

I was looking at the SL 32 series 3 for my church install. I just noticed the price jumped 300.00 over the past few days? That puts me back to shopping other boards. The budget was tight.

Are there any additional unexpected to changes to pricing or software package being offered? Or is it best to just wait on this one until it releases and ships and the market settles down?

International shipments will be going out the week of February 20th also. North America will ship from our warehouse in California. All international shipments will come from our warehouse in Hong Kong. Depending on your location to Hong Kong the mixers could take anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks to arrive.

The StudioLive 16 is currently scheduled to ship the week of March 20th. As we get closer I'll be able to provide more info about timing to various parts of the world.

Could you kindly point me to where you found info about the 16 shipping with Studio One Pro? Our website and press releases all state Studio One Artist (http://www.presonus.com/products/Studio ... re-library). The StudioLive 32 was also going to originally ship with Artist but was recently change to Pro so there shouldn't have been any info referencing Studio One Pro in earlier statements.
