So I have been working with support for more than a week to try and get the free plug ins that came with the SL64s when I purchased. There are 15 EQs and Comps. I cannot get these installed and activated. Anyone out there have a similar problem that then got resolved? What is the fix?

No. I have done all the steps numerous times and although I did see them activated twice one time with 11 of the 15 and another with all 15 they would not stick through a power cycle of the mixer. My account shows that I have activated on 1 of the 5 allowable. I don't understand what is going on, neither does Presonus so far.

I don't know if this 'trick' still works, but you can try: Delete all plug-ins, restart the mixer and install the plug-ins again.

Not 100% confirmed yet but it looks like it is my slow internet connection that does not allow activation of plug ins. Each time UC is launched to control mixer it checks to see if you have authorization to have plug ins installed. If anything goes wrong i.e. timeouts on communication it denies usage of plug ins.
SUCKS. Sure glad I don't count on this to make a living. |
