Since a few days the pan/param knob doesn’t work properly. Turning it sometimes shifts values erratically back and forth. Should I give it a go with good old contact spray? My work highly relays on the Faderport, I couldn’t really send it in for repair and wait a couple of weeks until it’s done. What would you do?

UPDATE: I was able to fix it by simply applying contact spray to the pot and twisting it left/right for quite a few times. I did not even have to disassemble the unit, I just pulled off the pot knob and sprayed it in from above. Not the right way to do it, I know, but I play rock n roll.
