Hello,

is there a way to use the Fader to control/automate virtual Instrument parameters ?

Is there a way to customize the mapping ?

how to control the smart knobs with the faders ?

The FP needs the latest firmware update. Read through this thread: viewtopic.php?f=337&t=38081

On the FP, click on both Shift buttons to enter MIDI mode.

In Logic, create an instrument track, open the smart controls editor inspector. Use the Learn function to assign the software instruments parameters that you need and then complete the External Assignments for those parameters.

Once all setup, save the Patch.

Thank you for the reply, is there a way to switch between MCU / MIDI mode while running Logic without rebooting the faderport ?
