I'd love to be able to use the faderport to write tempo information much in the same way you can write automation for a bus or track. The tempo track is pretty much an automation lane now so technically it should be possible.

It'd be awesome for controlling retards and accelerandos more naturally when writing orchestral like scores, or even controlling rubato or retards on pop songs. It'd make it easier to push choruses slightly or pull back on certain parts of a ballad. There's lots of reasons why writing the tempo with a fader would be easier and more natural than trying to add points to an automation line and drag the points around hoping for the best.

Anyone have any idea how to make this happen? Thanks!
