FaderPort 8 and FaderPort 16 General Discussion

Hi guys
Just checking out the FP8 and I see a large panel on the front (I assume its an arm rest) This seems to waste a fair amount of desk space (can only seem from images) is there a way to remove that ? I have my midi keyboard & comp keyb in front of of me so desk space is an issue for me. any help would be great. Cheers Matt |

It's not removable (designed that way).
