The manual states:

'Bank. Encoder and navigation buttons scroll
through channels in banks of sixteen.'

Mine banks in eight. Is there anything I can do to make it work?

If I select bank then use the previos next it jump 16 at a time. The knob then lets you scroll through those 16.

Thanks for reporting. Hmmm, mine does 8. Are you talking about Studio One or Reaper?

I suggest you read the manuals : https://www.presonus.com/products/Fader ... /downloads
If you read the quickstart guide you will see under section 2 that you have to hook up the Faderport 16 as two devices.
" MCU (Cubase). Select this mode to use your FaderPort 16 as a Mackie Control Universal device in Cubase or Nuendo."
"Note: When using the FaderPort 16 in MCU or HUI mode, you will need to configure it as two different devices in your DAW. Please review the FaderPort 16 Owner‘s Manual for complete instructions."

Then goto the complete manual Page 30-32 to read how to.

"Once you have connected your FaderPort to your computer, launch Cubase or Nuendo to set up the FaderPort as a Mackie Control Universal device. FaderPort 16 Users: Because Mackie Control Universal is an 8-channel protocol, you will need to create two Mackie Control devices: one for the right bank and one for the left bank. The FaderPort 16 presents two MIDI ports when connected to a computer. While in MCU (Cubase) mode, MIDI Port 1 controls the left bank of eight faders. MIDI Port 2 controls the right bank of eight faders as well as the buttons."

That is with Cubase/Nuendo.

Thanks for your suggestion. However, I did read the manual and set it up correctly. It's working fine as a 16 fader controller. I'm just talking about the BANK feature. It is supposed to bank from 1-16 to 17-32, but it goes from 1-16 to 9-24 etc.

I think for the time being you need to press twice instead of once if you want to bank 16 instead of 8 as the Mackie MCU works the same way ? In Studio One I think it works at a 16 bank at a time.
If I'm wrong correct me.

Yes, that's what I figured. It's just that the manual states otherwise (in the Cubase/Nuendo section). Thanks.
