I bought Faderport 8 to work with Cakewalk SONAR and have been disappointed that many of the Faderport 8 features (buttons) don't work with SONAR. But it works well enough and I'm still happy with the purchase.

What I hadn't counted on was it working with Premiere Pro. I haven't tried everything yet, but the transport controls work, most of the session navigator controls work (e.g., zooming, scrolling, scrubbing, master volume control), most automation controls work, and the channel strip works (even the Channel Display).

Awesome--it's like finding $20 in your coat pocket.
