Well I listed FP8 and MCU.
Any controller that had fader I would guess.
Did you mean Actual MCU or emulated MCU mode via FP8?

Fader 1 is a triangle automation with S1 standard update rate. Fader 2 is the same automation but with 'fastupdate' enabled. Both faders are playing in sync with fader 3-8.

The faders 3-8 are square wave automation. 1/8ths@150bpm.

Yep, that's about like the results I got with the FP8. A world of difference.

Hi tyaudronis,
When you say "that's about like the results I got with the FP8", what do you mean by "about"?

Because I just tried the XML modification, I indeed get more accuracy (the FP8's faders are following S1's console faders) but the faders do not move with a full amplitude like in the video above; my faders move rather like fader 1 in that video, it does not go to the max and min. I'm doing a 1/8th triangle automation, and it reacts the same at a slow or a fast tempo.

=> Is that what you get too?

Thank you! :+1

I got mine last wednesday, tested it with triangle waves at 1/4 130bpm, moves about between -10 and -30db. Doesn't seem to make a difference with adjusting fader speed....I think it's the same when it is at 1 vs 7?? So I also tried editing the xml file but again no difference?? help?

The new s1 v3.5 has updated the fader speeds according to the release notes. I've not tested it yet...

I did the latest FP8 firmware update + Studio One 3.5.1, unfortunately it didn't change anything for me :( :(

I tried fader speed 4, 6 and 7 >> with a sinusoidal or a triangle automation, the faders don't reach their amplitude, their movement is very irregular

Did someone have a better chance?

This should definitely be sticky post!
I was wondering all the time why i wasn't been able to write automation properly in touch mode when the automation is already written. It because the update rate is too low!!
Thank you guys for the solution.
