Will FP8 ever be able to control UC Surface allowing control of the RM mixers? Maybe with MIDI implementation (hopefully coming in UC Surface 2.0)What a great controller for live sound this would be!! Cheaper alternative to CS18 so maybe not :(

I wouldn't say that it cannot be done.

But chances are it WILL NOT be done as Presonus has never mentioned it as a possibility. It has never been marketed for that purpose. . .

But I'll just add to this thread as I have several threads that this functionality would be awesome!

Obviously it would never be able to control the actual AI mixer because it does not have an Ethernet or wifi connection to anything. But I could see it controlling UC Surface running on the Laptop that it is USB'd to, just like it does Studio One.

This could be a real asset to us Live Sound guys without being so Bulky and expensive as the CS18AI. . .

I didn't mean "Can Not Be Done" as if it could never be added. Just that it can not be done with it's current configuration.
