Hi everyone. I've been using FSM for years. I am happy with it. Everything is perfect (except lacking of on/off sw) Now i'm planning to buy a mic preamp(tube).
Just want to know that ,the only difference of the Xmax on FSM and BlueTube is 12AX7 ? I mean is worth buying BlueTube or TubePre for vocal recording with Rode NT2000 over FSM(Xmax Solid State)? Or should i directly take my chance on Studio Channel?

I had the Firestudio Tbe for a few years, and it had the same pre structure. IMHO, not really worth it unless you plan on changing the tubes.
