StudioLive AR16 with Capture Software

Hi,
I have a brand new StudioLive AR16 and tried to do a multitrack recording using the Capture software. On a MacBook it works like a charm, however on my iPad it does not work. AR16 shows up as input device, I can assign the different tracks, bu it does not record. What do I miss?
