Hello everybody, since i can't post at the inspire forum i put it in here.
My laptop has now finished working. So i had to find a pci card to get the interface to work again.
In my laptop there was a via vt6306 and it worked well for recording and alining audio systems.
Which chipset can i use to work proper for recording audio in combination with playbacks.

Thanks for your help

The Texas Instruments chip has proven the most reliable over the years. Startech is one manufacturer that uses the correct chip. I have personally used 3-4 different startech cards with zero issue.

I would make sure before purchase that the card you are looking to purchase still has the TI chipset. I wouldn't put it past any manufacturer to change manufacturing to lower costs, so the extra few minutes to verify would be a benefit.

Hello folks, yesterday a new firewire card arrived.
It's an Digitus DS-33203 with an via vt 6706 chip.
Today the first test with win7 and the actual driver and it works!
Further tests will be done after i found my mikrofone in the cellar.
The output is working so far.

Hope this helps others
