Updated my firmware today without any issues
I did a full Fat-32 formatted on my Sandisk Cruzer 4Gb I downloaded the firmware and unzipped the folder. I copied the 5ea. files and placed them on my thumb drive. (not in a folder) With my CS18 powered off, I inserted the thumb drive into the USB slot on the back. Holding the HOME button I powered on the CS18 when I saw channel 1 leds lit i let go of the HOME button. After all 21 leds where lit I power cycled the CS18 When the unit back on the faders did their dance and after everything stopped. I power cycled again. Opened StudioOne v4.1 I checked UCNET and had to re-add StudioOne v4.1 to the list. So far everything is working as expected I'd like to know what updates where added?

The "StudioLive AI Series Firmware Update Release Notes 9/13/2018" list as "issues fixed":
● CS18 Talkback inputs now working as expected ● Phones knob no longer can affect Monitor Outs ● FX Pre/Post button state now reflects correct setting ● Aux Mix Ch. Mutes now shown when Global Aux Mute set to NO There is nothing new for the DAW button users. You can find the PDF file in your PreSonus account (Downloads / firmware versions). |

Not sure if it is a result of update or just dumb luck but since update I can now "start/stop recording" like a punch pedal via footswitch which I never worked before
