Pardon if this question has been asked before.

I wonder if in the future via a firmware update it would be possible to patch the line ins of the CS18AI directly into the monitor section, to have monitor control when only using it as a controller, without an RM. It doesn't seem possible at the moment.

It seems to me (without knowing the internals of it) that the line ins might be hitting an AD there in the CS, and if so, you'd think it would be possible to switch that digital signal directly to the monitor section internally when using it in stand alone controller mode with no RM. I searched the menus and setup looking for a switch like that with no luck.
