OS X 10.8.5
Universal Control 2.5 If I turn on my Studio 192 BEFORE the system is booted - everything is OK. But if I turn on my Studio 192 AFTER the system is booted - Universal Control can't connect to Studio 192. With UC 1.x there were no such problems. |
davlet wroteOS X 10.8.5 It's good practice to always power on an interface before booting up a system. Usually second nature for anyone who has owned a firewire based interface in the past due to the high risk of damaging an interface while "hot swapping" the device. Yet for the USB audio, powering up after the system is on will work. You'll just need to select the audio I/O in your system settings before UC control will recongize it. |
Could be firewall on the connected PC. The 192 is not a network device on its own. It depends on the connected PC/Mac for networking. Make sure that UC and UC Net are added to firewall exceptions.

But you should be happy others did!
I have a 192 and it is working good with Windows 10. Do you have the latest drivers and UC software? |
