Anyone know if the new Fat Channel that is mentioned in the media for the new StudioLive
32 console will be released to Studio One/Studio 192 users? The "vintage style eq and compression" sound great and if it has the same functions as the current fat channel does in terms of integration between 192 and studio one ill be a happy man!

Can't be such a good question as we appear to be the only people who are interested!!!

Maybe the live broadcast on the 20th at 2pm CST will reveal more?

No sign of it yet. I would be a little miffed if they didn't port it to the 192. granted a studiolive 16 is $2000.

Anyone seen or heard anything about this? I'm wondering if it's worth adding it as a feature request? I've been tracking using the Fat Channel a lot recently and just printing/committing it with the eq and compression. The thought of having a couple of flavours through the "new" Fat Channels I've seen on the videos for the new mixer would be a god send..... sniffle, please?

Can't hurt to make the request. Not sure if the processing headroom is there to make it happen, but it never hurts to ask.

Done. And not to torture anyone, but the new Fat Channel sounds really good, esp the eq selections.

There must be a Tech at Presonus that could tell us if at least the infrastructure is there with the 192 to even be able to implement the new software????, Otherwise it's a moot point/

I assume if it was possible it would have been included in the new Quantum interface, as an enhancement to the product line.
