Hi,
Is there any way I can enable direct monitoring from within Cubase (8.0.35 Pro) (see screenshot)? Currently the option is grayed out and my latency is through the roof. Cubase reports a 10ms roundtrip (see screenshot), but it sound more like 200ms.

I'm playing one stereo track from Cubase and want to record one mono track, so hardly a processing issue for my late 2014 27" 5k iMac with 4GHz Core i7 and 32GB RAM. Buffer size in UC Control is set to 256.

I have no idea why the latency is so bad, but I really don't want to mix with UC Surface. My Cubase output only comes through on DAW1/DAW2 and I'd have to change the actual mix to add a little "more me" during recording. It's SO MUCH more convenient to use Cubase's Control Room features with cue sends.

Is there any way I can get the latency down? Why can't I select direct monitoring from within Cubase??
