Version 3.3 Release Notes (August 25, 2016):
- [Studio 192 / Studio 192 Mobile] Direct control of Mute, Dim, Talk and speaker selection from Studio One mixer (requires UC Surface 1.8.1) I've tested Studio One 3.3 with UC Surface 1.8 and these features work only if Cue Mixes (Zero latency) are disabled. I hope UC Surface 1.8.1 fixes this issue. |
I will try to confirm that when I get time...

We apologize, there were some last minute changes in the update for Studio 192 which prevented UC 1.8.1 from being released with Studio One v3.3. Unfortunately the release notes were not altered to remove the reference to UC 1.8.1 in time before Studio One was launched.
The UC 1.8.1 release is currently in test and we hope to have it available by mid September at the latest. I have updated Ari's release notes to say: • [Studio 192 / Studio 192 Mobile] Direct control of Mute, Dim, Talk and speaker selection from Studio One mixer (requires UC Surface 1.8.1 to be released in mid-September)

Actually the U.C Surface 1.8 have some promlems: the audio goes in MONO when the mixer of studio 192 is "on". So is completely unsusable!

kevladd wroteCan we have the option to hide the new controls in Studio One when this is released? It takes up a lot of real estate on the Mixer and I would rarely use these functions. It will be out sooner than the code to change S1 mixer. Please be patient Thanks

I'm also noticing that when input monitoring, mute and solo only work in studio one if zero latency is disengaged. Is this normal behavior? I realize presonus is working out some bugs as we speak. I've just started using the 192 recently so I'm not sure what all is normal vs a possible bug.

Please give the steps required to repeat that issue.
Including very specific about how you are monitoring. Thanks

jpettit wrotePlease give the steps required to repeat that issue. Open Studio one, create a new song, add 2 audio tracks, in this case I have a Mic plugged into input one on the 192 and a guitar into input 2. Added a stereo output to hp1, selected as a cue mix. Selected the main out as cue mix as well. Im using the Main to monitor as a cue mix for these next steps... When Z is activated, clicking the solo and mute buttons has no affect, I simply get audio from the mic or guitar. Any track with Z unchecked will behave as expected, they will mute if another is solo'd, they will mute if you mute them etc. Also, as soon as I click Z, even if only on one of many input tracks, I lose the main output metering in Studio One for all of them. Still Passes audio, but metering is gone. Playback metering is fine. HP1 behaves the same in all the steps as I described above. Thanks, Jason. |
