Here are a few simple requests ; when I want to set the preamp my big finger on the touchscreen is preventing me to readout the value because the level value is at the underside of the slider . Can you please put the value at the top of the slider ? Maybe even bigger popup sliders , I only have a 10 inch screen and really big hands.
Maybe you can add a lock function on the app. I'm using it live , and everybody wants to play with my gadgets... I now use a screensaver with a lock code but there's no telling what someone can do with your mix in the few minutes before the screensaver kicks in

Thanks in advance

Ron

We use 3-5 tracks that just go to the AUX mixes..... is there a way to hide these...or lock the fader?

I just ordered my RM16AI.... so haven't played with it.... the way to send a channel to the Aux only is select pre-fade and fader all the way down...correct ?

Wish there was a way to lock or hide the faders.

Also - please allow additional permissions for Dynamics and faders. I deal with volunteers at our church and need to limit there ability to impact a worship service until they have proven them selves.

Also.... wish Presonus would develop WAV files to be able to be played through Capture for training purposes..

I'd like a very simple record to USB thumb drive. No need for all channels, just the main LR output.
Perfect for recording the church services without an extra recorder (and the hassle of where to connect that).

Plus, if possible, ability to playback media files from the thumb drive too for music intervals (so I can start music from the back of the auditorium without running all the way to the front to start my ipod

<most "competitors" in this space seem to have these functions :( >

Channel assign to mono with levelcontrol

I think it would be nice to adjust the level of the mono assign per channel,
for instance when you want to use the mono output for subwoofers, you can adjust the amount of sub you need per channel.
Anyone agrees ?

Eardrums, I agree. That would be a nice alternative to an aux fed sub.

How about linking the gain fader on both channels once you link them in stereo?.... Still having to go into L/R separately to adjust gain is inconsistent with a streamlined workflow.

As previously requested, simply USB playback would be great.

I was wondering why every aux and mono out has a hpf and master has not .If it were there I could use the master for my top speakers and mono for my subs, which also has a lpf. My speaker processor died last weekend so I'm looking for an alternative way to get the signal 2way to my active p.a. My subs have internal crossover but the tops cannot run full range at full blast .

I was wondering the same thing yesterday . It would be very nice to have a HPF on the main buss. But then wondered if the LPF on the mono buss maybe affected the main buss too . The tops do go a littlel lower then I like . And cutting bass frequencies seemed to get me a little more headroom with my previous setup which used a 4 way crossover . I removed it when I upgraded to the RM

I would love:

The ability to rename the Mute Groups and Quick Scene Groups.

Also the ability to type in the BPM for tempo driven FX's.
So i don't have to go through my set list and tap out each song prior to practice.
(Until the RM is MIDI - sync-able :) )

As I said before, great comments and feedback on these requests.

We appreciate you taking the time to communicate with us and we're working hard to keep up with your needs :)

Keep it coming!

Here's another one, i have not seen at the forum.
Maybe a good idea to be able to leave out the Tape-in mute to the mono & L/R outputs
so the ipod can play music, whilst everything else is muted with the "mute all" button.
Quick solution when doing a change-over @ stage.

Yeah it makes sense that MUTE ALL would do something besides mute all.

the MUTE ALL is IMO a safety device and should do exactly what it is labeled and MUTE ALL

mute groups are your friend

A few little things.

Please address the popping when mute all and scene changes...it,s more like a little audio snap.

Change decay time on reverb to MIlliseconds

Stereo reverb? Allow different decay times for left and right?

Still wish when you tap out your tempo it changes the reverb decay time as well.... Even if it defaults to 1/4 note value.

And wanted to mention again...a place to set tempo ...verses tapping.
I'm now going through the quick scenes and manually entering delay times and decay times.... I think some simple changes would really make the quick scenes a robust tool for different songs.

Also hoping we can trigger different scenes and quick scenes with note value's via midi soon. Maybe one note....different velocities. :).

While mixing on the RM32AI, if think it is handy to have the channel A/B function available in the channel section near the 48V & the Phase switch and not in the preset part of the channel.
This way you can acces the A/B mode easier (seems more logical to me...!).
anyone else ?

Are you referring to UC for iPad? I guess there is no space left in UC for iPad.
In UC for the Mac there is an A/B radio button just underneath the EQ.

I would like to have an answer why everything can be edited in a XX.XX dB scale, so with an accuracy of 0.01 dB.

It would seem so much easier if the scale accuracy would be in XX.X dB scale, with 0.5 dB steps. Any smaller steps are inaudible anyway.

The visuality as well as control would be improved a lot.

I am not sure if all of the below regarding the DCA groups is requested before but to summarise and/or add:

- Ability to sort
- Representation of pre-fade sum level metering
- Symbols that follow the automatic DCA grouping, but also editable with manually added groups
- Possibility to really delete automatic created DCA groups. Now there is the option to but this does not really delete the group (perhaps a bug!)

I have asked before: Make the ability to see either inputs or outputs on the levels of channels on surface. Like on the consoles.
