StudioLive RM32Ai and RM16Ai Mixers & UC Surface with QMix Ai

Hi all
I have 2 RM32 and am still using UC Surface 2.4 without major issues. I'd like to update on the actual firmware and software, but read about several bugs in UC Surface 2.8. The actual version seems to be 2.9.2. Are there any known issues (except the ones named in he release notes) with the actual versions of firmware, UC Surface, Capture .....
Thanks in advance for your replies.

From all reports I've seen UC 2.9.2 is stable as well as latest firmware and Capture 2 update. Working great here.

If you are using your two RMs separate, then I would also say "noprob" with UC 2.9.2. If you are using a CS18AI with one RM, you will see some funny display behavior (e.g. red knobs...) here and there, but basically things are working alright. But the result of cascading two RM mixers will range from unproblematical to unusable. For me cascading turned out to be to unreliable and therefore unusable.Making Firewire available at FOH was one of the best features of the StudioLive AVB Mix Systems.

The Firewire Display Lag is still not solved, which makes the metering in UC Surface meaningless.

Thanks all for your replies. I did the upgrade to UC Surface 2.9.2 and the actual firmware. I think everybody in this forum is aware of the firewire lag problem. And luckily I do not use firewire except for capture recording. But what I now see after the update are tremendours more than 10 sec between input from MAC (iTunes) via firewire and meter indications on the MAC.
In words: ten seconds (yes, you read it right ...... ten).
Dear friends of presonus: even if I'm not relying on firewire, please get this bug fixed. Please !!!!!!

It may work fine on an iPad, but the latest UC Surface is completely unusable on a firewire connected computer. "Firewire Lag" I don't think is a strong enough description, but not much I can do about it, been complaining about it for 2 years and it hasn't helped. I'm still on UC 1.8.3

Miracle, miracle
After rebooting the system tonight (for making a video for presonus customer support), the delay-problem turned back to be the "classic" firewire lag problem, with times of approx. 3 seconds.
Still unacceptable and really strange.
