... and what about the CS18AI...?

From the T&C

"If the Trade-In does not meet the minimum Quality Standard, the Trade-In will be rejected and returned to the Customer. "

So no trading in any RM or AI then as none of them have ever worked as per the original advertised spec...

Don't mind. This program is anyway not available in England and Germany... I don't see our countries on the list.

I see, PreSonus Europe Limited (13 Churchview Square, Cavan, Co Cavan, Ireland) is now the exclusive distributor for Austria, Belgium, England, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Northern Irland, Scotland and Wales. What will happen when the Brexit comes in March? And if we need a repair, do we have to send equipment to Ireland? This makes no sense, neither economically nor ecologically.

I tried the "Questions?" option on this page: https://www.presonus.com/StudioLive-Power-up-Trade-in-Program/Europe-Middle-East-Africa and asked, when and where the trade-in program wil be available in Germany, but yesterday PreSonus did not answer. I sent another question today,,, and tomorrow ... and the day after tomorrow ...

I am disappointed that my Studio Live 16.0.2 was not listed for trade in. I was considering an upgrade, but the lack of trade in will change that now, bummer.

I wouldn't sell my RM32 to my best friend for $450!

I sold my 16.4.2 classic for $750 after I bought my RM32.

Besides, with no SMAART on every input and output I'd feel like I was powering down :(

Several European countries like England, The Netherlands and Germany are not listed on the page of the "Europe-Middle-East-Africa-Participating-Dealers" and under the header you can read the sentence: "If your territory is not listed below, the StudioLive Power-up Trade-in Program is currently not available in your region." Currently means until December 31, 2018. You will have to think about another Christmas present.

I finally got an answer to my several attempts asking sales @PreSonus this simple question: "When will the trade-in program be available in Germany?" I asked on September 19, the answer was written on October 10, 2018:

"Thank you for contacting PreSonus. Apologies for the delay in responding. Due to recent changes in our distribution model, PreSonus are unable to run the current Mixer Trade In promotion in your territory at this time. We are planning a new Mixer Trade In promotion to run in your territory in early 2019. Thank you for your patience and understanding."

There is no reason to be enthusiastic. "Early 2019 " does not necessarily mean January to March 2019 and "planning" is not more than an intention, which might become reality, or not. This word has been used in the Forums much too much. I don't know what the words "patience" and "understanding" mean in this connection, so I keep them uncommented. Besides Germany the "territory" is Austria, Belgium, England, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Northern Irland, Scotland and Wales. Just saying.

Not long ago I made a commitment to Presonus with my choice of RML16AI, Quantum 26x32, ATOM, FaderPort 2018 and Studio One V4. When the Trade-In program was announced I decided to trade-in my perfect condition RML16AI even though I was really happy with it, and purchase a StudioLive 16R so that I could stay up-to-date with software upgrades and avoid the hassle of reselling my RML16Ai on my own.

I spent $90 to ship my mixer back to Presonus over seven weeks ago and I'm still waiting to hear back on the status of my $300 rebate. I've tried to contact Presonus by opening support tickets but haven't heard back from them after several attempts.

Long story short, I'm pretty aware that I would have come out way ahead with fewer hassles if I had resold my RML16AI on my own.
