New Mac Book Pro - Firewire to Thunderbolt 3

My 2011 MacBook Pro died this week (RIP) so now have brand new Mac Book Pro with thunderbolt 3 ports. Need to connect to RM32AI i.e firewire. Tidiest solution seems to be OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock which has a firewire port on it.

Has anyone used one of these to connect RM32 (or similar) firewire to MBP? I will be running UC Surface and Capture.

Just to conclude this one - in the end I used a Thunderbolt3 to Thunderbolt 2 adaptor and a Thunderbolt 2 to Firewire adaptor - £80 vs £280 but fewer options.
