Hi everyone,

according to this press release https://www.presonus.com/press/press-re ... Mixes-Easy it is possible to nest DCAs inside each other.

I wasn't able to do so. How can this be done inside UC Surface?

Any Channel can be in more than one DCA. That's how it's done & yes in UC surface.

Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2, 16.0.2 (x2), Studiolive mobile, Mac mini i7 Quad core, 16GB, MacBook Pro 2012 (1T Ssd & with all the Ports you need) Studio One Professionnal. Mélodine editor, Fader Port, StudioLive RM32-AI, CS18-ai, KRK VTX4 monitors and KRK 10s.
KRK 10 3 monitors. Yamaha O1v, KRK rokit 10 3 monitors. RCF 725-II PA and RCF 325 stage monitors. Turbosound TQ425/455 DP PA.

Thank you for your response, but putting multiple channels in different DCAs isn't the same as nesting them, or is there something I misunderstood.

What I'm interested in is something like this:

  1. Dums DCA
    1. Kick
    2. Snare
    3. Toms
      1. Rack Tom
      2. Floor Tom Left
      3. Floor Tom Right
    4. Overheads
      1. Overhead Left
      2. Overhead Right
  2. more DCAs
  3. ....

Is this possible whin an RM32 and UC Surface?

No, DCA filter groups can not contain sub channel groups. A possible approach could be:

01 Kick
02 Snare
03 Toms
04 Overheads
05 Bass
06 Guitars
07 Keys
08 Vocals
09 ...
10 ...
