Maybe I missed something. But I didn't find the select button for A/B of the PEQs.
Are they hidden somewhere?

i would love to see the A/B button in the fat cahennel window itself, instead of having to select the presets menu, anyone else agree?

This could make sense in the channel view mode, but two clicks ín UC (preset button, A or B) already look pretty effective. The SLAI boards and the CS18 controller have dedicated buttons for the A/B feature and real faders are also very nice... ;-)

Ya know, I've been using my RM for 2 years and I have never once used the FAT channel A/B option. I suspect it's because it's not there, well, at least not right there anyways.

In the heat of the battle, I'm not much for going into menus and things. I'll use the FAT menu at the beginning setup of a gig to copy FAT's from one channel to another sometimes, but that's it. I do not use any FAT channel presets, never have.

I could see using the A/B FAT, I, believe it or not, run into a lot of folks who will use an Acoustic guitar and a Banjo through the same channel. I ask for them to use different channels if I can, but often times I don't get my way. A good recent example is Tom Chapin (fantastic folk singer, brother of Harry Chapin), he ran an acoustic and a banjo and even an autoharp through the same cable (he had a little passive mute button so he could pull the plug from one instrument and plug it into the other). That said, the A/B thing could just complicate things too, I use Pre2 for my monitors, so I have to be really careful making any changes to the channel eq (I use many SubGroups to EQ FOH during the show, important channels may have their own Subgroup with just that channel) but I could use the A/B on a Subgroup with one channel sent to it. Ha! And I'm talking about keeping things from getting complicated! It can be complicated if it's an elegant design that in the end makes life easier.

So I agree, I would like to see that!
