xlr cable stuck in mixer

I have an rm16 mixer. In channel 16 I have a xlr cable stuck. What do I do?

I was able to free a stuck XLR plug in my RM16AI by holding the release tab in on the XLR socket on the mixer, pushing the stuck XLR plug in a little bit before then pulling it out. The plug only moved in a mm or two and I did not push very hard for fear of breaking anything, but it was enough to free it sufficiently. It only happened with me on a cable fited with a budget XLR plug.

Unfortunately PreSonus decided not to use Neutrik Sockets so I'm not surprised this would happen eventually...

Which connector brand is on your cable?

I am curious if the lock could be removed without disassembling the mixer.
