I upgraded my iPad to the latest version of iOS Friday morning. At the show last night, I experienced multiple freezes and crashes with UC Surface which has never happened to me.
Just thought I would share this information. UC Surface has always been ran solid on my iPad ll so this was a surprise. |

Good to know as I am on an iPad2 and I saw the message and declined it this weekend (still on 8.4). It sounds like you at least made it through the gig, but just to be sure I understand you right, did the sound continue without any hiccups? And just the UC Surface App that crashed?

Friday - It was only UC Surface on iPad that kept crashing on me...Got through the show no problems with audio and nobody knew except me and the drummer who was patient through sound check and anyone who cared to look at my face turning red.
Saturday - I have to say everything was fine...no problems. I almost wished it wasn't this way because now I have no idea what the heck was happening the night before. I plan on setting it up this week and testing it out some more. Lesson learned...don't upgrade even a point release on the day of a gig....I should know better. |
