Why oh why oh why....

I downloaded capture duo to use for recording acoustic guitar using the audiobox itwo on another location and then import the files to my studio computer. The song has tempochanges and after searching in the app I found that by holding at the timefield I got a menu that had instert time signature in it. Tapped that and the app hangs!

I tried reinstalling and tried it a few times but it doesn't seem to work. What a drawback! Is this a bug or is it something with my ipad? I'm on the 2017 ipad...
