check this out https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MK0W ... 7%252B45b0 i use it to run keyboards off the apple power blob for the ipad. don't think it actually charges but it powers both keyboards (usb powered like audio interfaces) and the ipad and can run both as long as i want without worrying about battery level. but i suggest you charge up the ipad before starting. hope this helps cheers
