Hi everyone.
I've installed the latest firmware that come with UC v1.8 and now my Mac Mini 2012 (OS X 10.11.6) cannot sleep ... The Audiobox blinks a couple of seconds and apparently forces the computer to wake up immediately. I hope there's a solution. Thanks. |
The same here, on a Mac Pro Mid 2012 + El Capitan 10.11.6, usina the Audiobox iTwo.
After it sleeps, the iTwo blinks and the Mac restarts (keeping the monitor black until I press a key |
Well, I received an answer from the support.Thay told me to unplug the iTwo during the sleep or after...
Not so happy about that, as with the previous f/w no troubles at all... But if that's the answer, I'll keep it as good (hoping for a new f/w with this bug fixed) |
I told the same, but they still say we have to unplug it...
As I'm using the iTwo as my main audio interface, connected to a pair of Ceres4.5, using a rear USB port, I cannot unplug the cable every time I need to put in sleep the mac... Not sure how people at PreSonus are using these interfaces... I doubt they unplug them every time... |
It seems we have to live with this "feature". I tried to talk with Presonus techs guys, but no way.
Plug-unplug or just disable the sleep mode. So, my dear mac, you will not sleep anymore (until I'll keep the iTwo, but it's so cute and I don't want to change it... ) |
I've tried the iOne with my Mac Pro 2012 and sadly this unit not only prevents the computer from sleeping but hangs it after the screen turns off. The only solution is not to use sleep or try a different device. I like the iOne for it's simplicity and can only hope Presonus will release a new firmware with a fix.

I'm also having this problem with my iTwo. My i-devices repeatedly wake up every few seconds. Like you guys, I didn't have this problem before updating my firmware, and I really wish I hadn't updated it.
I opened a Presonus support ticket and they told me: 1. It's "possible" that it "might" be fixed in a future update. The answer was vague and no time frame if at all. 2. I'm not even 100% confident they knew or cared exactly what I was talking about. They asked me no additional questions to clarify the issue. I'm posting this to let you guys know that, from my support experience, a fix for this is not looking good, IMO. If anyone has additional recent information, it is appreciated. Thanks. |
Just run into this problem with Yosemite and Mac Pro.
I'm dissatisfied. UC urged me to update the firmware "Please update iTwo firmware!" but there was no documentation. Now I can't use sleep mode on my computer which was used frequently. It's not reasonable to expect users to disconnect the unit every time they use sleep mode! Has an explanation been given as to why this behaviour has been adopted? I'm also experiencing new audio glitches (when switching apps). Is there no way to roll back the driver? The old one seemed to work. |
It's the same on iTwo here is my terminal output from macOS 10.12.6.
maybe anybody can help me to get back the sleep mode.....
