As it stands, the mixers are supported for wifi use using a specific chip, which was mentioned in an earlier post. That specific chip is a 2.4ghz chip. At this point it would be in the hands of engineering.

At this point, the most productive approach would be to follow the link below, and add this as a feature request in the Answers site, as was mentioned earlier. That way the community can vote on it, and product management can actiively farm the vote getters for features to prioritize.
