No idea why this is happening

As you can see from the short 15 second video, I open the CTC-1 plugin, make changes and close it. Reopen, and the changes are not saved.

Confuzzled!

Any ideas why this is happening?!

Yes, I know what's going on here.
From your video is very clear that after your tweaks on the console, you actually reopen a new instance of console so it opens at default settings.
If you want to reopen the console, just double click on the blue line and everything will be ok.

That is because you are not saving the settings! Save them and then reopen a new instance and load up your saved preset.

This is the long way Jemusic. You mean each time you wanna make a little change, you must save it as preset?
The easy and natural thing is to just double click on the blue CTC-1 area and the CTC-1 will open with the settings you did lastly.

What I meant was before you remove the plugin you should save it. Tweak away but just don't remove it. The original post said make some tweaks and close it.

But if you have made some real nice tweaks I would save it to be sure. As you say though if you can recall previous settings great, but I would still save it before closing just to be sure it is always there. i.e. dont rely on the recall options. One day it may not recall and you will be kicking yourself for not backing it up.
