Working with sessions saved on external disk in APM partitio

Is it a problem to work with an external drive in APM instead of GUID ? (not considering the fact i will not be able ofc to make bootable clone of whatever on this disk... )

Is it slower than would be a GUID partitionned disk ?

BTW i cant beleive there is not a right click "put in favorites function" in the S1 sounds browser ?? What are you supposed to do with a this huge sample bank ? .. Browse it each time you work on a session ?.......
