Good song and recording, the rawness is good and it works well with production. Do you use plugins for guitars and drums etc or is it all live using mics?

Do you use plugins for guitars and drums etc or is it all live using mics? hi andy! thanks for checking this one out travel song, yea, it's pretty honest recording. for this one, loud amps, sm57's and Shure KSM44's, on cabs, drums were written by me in Sony Acid, so they are 16 bit 44k samples of real drums being played. bass is direct thru a sansamp bass DI.

I used to use a sansamp something. I forgot what the f it is now. Was that a ProTools plugin? I just can not remember it's been so long...

using the good ole sansamp bass DI
a great tool, plus it has a unaffected thru output, so you can split the signal two ways. i often take a feed off the sansamp, then use the thru to send to my Iridium pedal with the marshall super lead and a ampeg 4x10 cab, and blend those two signals together in mono.
