"Nonlateral Movements" is my first attempt at an all orchestral arrangement. That is aside from one part containing a Mellotron.
There's actually a good number of Presence XT instruments used here, which I found very useful.
Enjoy the space and imagery!

Hi James,
yes, i enjoyed space and sound a few times as i liked the harmonies and arrangement.
The Mellotron always brings back the days of King Crimson, Genesis and other bands from the era.
And I had little birds with memories of those bands on their back, flying through my head while listening to that little piece of music of yours.

Cheers, Oliver

Thank you Oliver! Means a lot! Love those bands and their use of the Mellotron as well. I was really pleased to hear how well the Arturia Mellotron captures that string effect in the higher register. Breif story, in the 80's, a friend of our band who was heavilly involved in production, brought a mellotron over during a rehearsal. It was awesome, albeit a little beat up. Still, very cool with all of those tape loops. With Arturias Mellotron V, there's no mainenance, and stairs to move it up (our Lowery organ was enough!).
Thank you for your ever visionary impressions. "nonlateral movement" was fun, particularly along the percussion parts. When does one ever get to usr a glockenspiel. There seems to be an element of time running out. Near the end, the French horn, lends a feeling of the clue is near. Retrace your steps to find the missing piece. All this in retrospect of course. ;)
Peace my friend and Thank you. 🙏
James
