Push wroteSuper, I would like a louder and more powerful bass guitar and add sub bass to the bass drum YEP, can we have everything louder than everything else?! heheh, i hear you. i always have to decide what is going to be the most prevalent thing in a mix, typically i end up taking the kick and bass down a bit, to feature more melody. it's funny, when you a/b certain classic rock albums against modern mixes, yes, the modern mixes seem more powerful, but become somewhat fatiguing after a point... i'm trying for somewhere between the two. maybe, i'll try focusing on bringing up more 40-50 hz, and taking down at 80-100 to make up the harmonic difference... or suck out the 2nd harmonic more, at about 160-200hz. then i could boost more of the lower lows (which most people's playback systems will not reproduce anyway! food for thought..

It will not be louder, but it will be sit better in the mix. P.S. moreover, it will be better heard on small speakers Waves Max bass is a perfect tool for this You can also try Sound Radix SurferEQ
