this is one of two instrumentals off my new full length album out next week.

The album is called "The Wild Animals".

this is one of two instrumentals, along with 8 songs.
i'll post a link when it's ready to roll.

this entire album was my first album created totally in Studio One.
Mastered in Project Page.

i have screen shots of certain mix elements in certain songs,
if anybody gives a rat's patootie, and wants to discuss.

As always, top-notch stuff. Also cool to share your tools of the trade.

Now pardon me for this. I just came across something interesting, but
completely off topic. However, I think you'll be O.K. with this...
Check out this video, but skip to exactly 8:43 ...

See why I posted this completely unrelated thing? (I just listened to
your song, and this was the next thing I browsed...it just blew my mind!)

I plan to get back on topic about the music in a minute, but right now I'm even a bit
more blown away.
So you knew about that plane too! And THEN you came across
the other RG? Wow!
As a kid (maybe 12 years old) I had a picture book of U.S. military planes, and the SR71
really jumped out. I have always considered it the most amazing/coolest plane ever made.
And one of our family friends actually worked in the test field and hanger. He described
igniting the engine with some ultra heated semi-solid rocket fuel torch.
And then to think that this exact plane captured your attention, and then you discover your
namesake. Totally bonkers!

Anyway, back on topic...
Even all of your initial mixes that you posted here sounded really great. Looking forward
to the full album! :punk:

i think i found out about the SR-71 about the same time that i found out about project bluebook

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Blue_Book

imagine that!
chasing ufo's with a SR-71 ;)

i'd call those guys the FOO FIGHTERS!!

yea, when i post those working mixes,
they are close
but never what i eventually decide on for the final album mix.

a lot of times, i'm pushing ideas forward,
and just need some feedback to see if they are coming across or not.
