all S1P4.5

this song i posted a while back,
and decided to re-track all the guitars and bass.

it is an unmastered mix.

i'd like some feedback on the way the kick and bass translate.
also level of guitars vs levels of vox.
stuff like that.

i have finished writing all the material for what will be my 4th full length album release.
i have a bit of tracking left on only one song.
i hope to post final mixes on all the songs before i master it and put it out there.

Kick and bass are tight! On my small speakers, bass is solid, not at all muddy...it's about as clear as bass can be on small speakers. That kick sounds great! Now on my small speakers they don't stand out, but do not take that into account....kicks never stand out on those. The kick would have to be pretty ridiculous to be punchy on those tiny speakers.
On my headphones, sounds awesome. Great sound on the kick, without sounding like "processing". The kick helps drive the song, without sounding like somebody was doing the latest transient mangling thing.
It's not easy getting a lot of listens here, is it? But there's always those who like new stuff. I would keep this mix up for a bit. There's bound to be people who only come to the forum once in a while who will come across this. However, I'm betting that almost everyone will agree that this is really, really done, as is your usual :punk:

alright mr monkey sir!

thanks so much for checking this one out,
this one had a lot of effort put in.
the kicks, are pretty much straight samples, there is a outer head mic, inner, and a sub, blended into one track.
just eq, and some simple compression.

this one, being a first mix, is actively being worked on,
and at this point over a week after posting it,
i've only had one response,
so despite your suggestion,
i'm pulling this one down to continue working on it.
i may put on my 'producers' hat and edit some of the more dense stuff to be less dense,
but the overall sonics will stay the same,
so thanks for your input on the translation.
