ok, number 4 mix i've posted on this one.

this is unmastered.

my issues with this nearly final mix,
is i think the vox is too hot.

if i bring the vox down overall,
the rhythms sit better, bass and drums lock in better..
or, just leave everything alone, and bring up the rhythms only?

as it is, i tend to want to bring everything else up,
which is kinda backwards thinking!! LOL,
what do you think?

The Vocals don't sound too loud to me.

But if..... "the rhythms sit better, bass and drums lock in better" when you bring them down it might be worth doing.

I can't quibble with anything about the mix. Now, if I was a wild animal,
I would make up one or two small, imaginary issues for you to chase
But I am domesticated, more or less :P

Hmm, it just spins and won't play/start... just acts like it wants to.
I checked my SoundCloud and my songs play.

I'll check back tho'. ;)

Still plays fine over here. Maybe a short-lived internet connection or server problem?

Holy smokes...I can't comment on the mix, except it sounds good to me. Vocals sound great. The effects are well done too. Great job!

alright haus!
not too loud, check.
yea, i'll play around with this balance just a bit,
and maybe i just automate the rhythms up a bit, in between any vocals, and leave em where they are at NOW, during the vocals.

Wow, this is fabulous. 8-)
This is one well crafted, arranged and mixed song.
I love what's in your arsenal that creates your style.

In no way do I think the vocals are too loud... they're like Goldilocks... just right!
You also do a great job of mixing in the backing vox tracks throughout.
There's lots of guitar going on and they're all mixed well and all the different parts match up.
Then add in the drums and to me the vox sit just right. ;)

This is very good and seems a commercial grade mix and song.
I wish you all the best in your endeavors.

P.S. it was a Firefox plugin that caused the hangup in playing this last nite.

sorry rscain,
i took this down a week ago.

being as it's a 'work in progress', i never leave them up more than about 5 days, and continue on the mix.

i figure, why keep an obsolete mix up, if i've already cranked some more time on it..

i'll post another soon.
