I like the mix of electronic drums, acoustic & electric guitars. You've got some nice funk guitar licks in there too.

Interesting electronic twist moving into Reggae feel.

Wow those drums certainly pack a punch !

I'm curious to know if you have tried running a side chain compressor on the bass triggered from the kick. It's a trick I learnt in this forum and seems (to my ears) to help reduce some of the excessive thump that can sometimes occur when the kick and bass coincide.

Nice piece though .. thanks for sharing!

I liked it, just needs a melody to drive it home. I found myself humming one out while listening 😀

Off the cuff, the mix sounded low-end muddy to me. I <think> that might be the kick/tams/bass/keys all having different very long reverb trails that overlap with each other in the same dynamic range. I am just getting back to recording and mixing after a few years off, so take that with a grain of salt. But for me the verb trails on the low end parts all wash together and drown out the mids and highs.

Cool song- sounds like you went in a bit of a different direction on this one. Nice branching out
Kicks are really thumpy/tubby though- overkill there, in my opinion. The kicks really occupy a lot of low-end. Still, I really like the song. Your music is always uplifting!

I liked it.
Nice playing.
Is that side stick snare panned a shade left? My head keeps trying to center it.
;)

Thank you for listening. The stick snare is centered with no FX. This version has some lead gtr (for better or worse;)

Nice .. I think the intermittent use of the screaming lead gives a lot more dynamic to the piece overall.

Nice job :)

Excellent, well-executed. Keeps moving with enough variation between sections to engage the listener.

To follow what zzskhg wrote, i think the reggae phases could be given more punch with *something* different, maybe shorter tails on the verb or different drum pattern. Somebody with a background in recording reggae might chime in with some advice.

That said, altogether a tight and proficient piece. Thanks for sharing!
