Another good one,

Very dynamic. It builds tension nicely and then releases. What are you using for the strings and orchestral parts?

Thank you!

For the string parts I use a combination of Spitfire Chamber Strings and Spitfire Symphonic Strings, I also sometimes use Vienna Synchron strings (but not in this composition). I very often use Spitfire Sacconi Strings for the Lead players in the string sections (Violin).

The pipe organ is Union Chapel (I make use of the pedal register double up with a sub sine wave!) for the low end, and the Choir register manual (a combination of different organ stops) for the melodic part of the track.

Brass section is Spitfire Symphonic Brass and Project Sam. Woodwinds are Spitfire Symphonic Woodwind.

Cinematic for sure. You handled the string dynamics very well - sounded very natural to me. Nice job!

Thank you for listening. Yeah, it sure is a lot of working making the strings sound as natural as possible!

Cheers for your ears :)

Very nice .. lovely orchestral arrangement. If I were to make one comment it would be that maybe you could add more 'space' in certain sections (i.e. reverb) just to increase the 'drama'. Great as it is tough :)

Hey thank you for the listen and lovely comments :)

With respect with the ambiance / reverb, I actually did try when mixing the track to include more reverb, but what I found was it diffused the attack of the chamber strings too much, and it lost the edginess that I was hearing in my head.

Thanks again :)

Very nice. Short and sweet.
Lovely arrangement.
Are you scoring these pieces and if so with what app? Notion 6?

I am purely using Studio One, I have Notion 6 installed as well, but I have to do so much track and event automation that I really don't think would be possible in Notion.

I hope Presonus advances the connection with Notion, then it may fit my work flow. What I tend to do is initially I create a piano part in Studio One, then send it to Notion to score and print it. I then use this reference to create all the other parts for the composition in Studio One.

Best,
Scott
