Please offer your advice on the mix if you would like:

I just discovered the clip fx feature...I've only been using SO since 2012! :reading:

Very, very useful feature!

Thanks for any comments on the mix

I thought it was a bit lacking in bass, in agreement with some people who said so. So I tweaked it a bit. I think the bass side of things is better now and the song is more balanced overall.

But who the heck knows? I sure don't because I have no solid way of trusting my monitoring situation.

I think you`ll never find the perfect solution, cause everybody has a different taste. That`s for sure.
Me personally I would be happy to have the Money for a House/Bungalow.
I`m living in a kind of after war ruin :P .So I can`t use Monitors. The Money is the next thing.
That`s why I trust in Headphones, cause the Neighboors Tv su**s you know and I´m not interested to know everything they`re talking about.
And if I reading about how different the results with monitors at home can be...that`s an other story.

Anyways:
The Bass is sounding fat and crisp and has a nice attack. OK it`s a Bass Guitar but the Attack is really nice and the Bass has Dynamic like the whole Mix has.
Currently I`m listening again, but now with a simple Gaming Headset from Corsair.
And again: The Mix sounds well balanced, clear, transparent, has Air and the Bass is good for that what I expected for this kind of music. I can hear it well and I must say IMO it`s a very good mix.
I`m not sure but I think even a hardcore Master could not do so much fanstastic better.

Well that's very nice of you to say.

I'm going to make some changes nonetheless.

I might start with my vocal box

One of the all time classics. Of course the low end sounds defined and tight and round without, in any way shape or form, masking the rest of the instrumentation in a veil of low end blur.

Exactly what I would love to achieve.

Thanks for that link. That song always puts me in a good mood.

Toe tapping along as I write this .. lovely use of the stereo space! I think you have the bass spot on, personally I would have gone for a fraction more high frequency on the guitars but that's probably down to taste (and my deteriorating high frequency hearing :) )

Thanks for sharing
