Had a call form a young singer who wanted to record some original songs, as she knew I had Studio One (she has a basic copy).

Very nice.
Sounds like something I'd see at the local jazz venue. Love the accompaniment and mix - has 'live' feel to it. She's a great singer... very breathy and emotive... and with no noticeable effects!  Thnx for sharing this, Good job!

She is really good. Nice work. I would have kept the vocal reverb the same thru out the song. It is sparse in the verse and more is added later.
I wish the snare and drums had more of a live feel especially for this song. Snare is too dead sounding. She has so much potential! Can't wait to hear hear next piece. Keep up the good work. |
