I've been living with a small hole in that eardrum for at least 30 years now, and I have a lot of high pitch hearing loss from years of playing in loud rock bands, I know when to stop pushing it with the head phone levels because I get a slight earache sometimes when I over do it. My ear doctor told me that since I already had that eardrum repaired before because of a water skiing accident there is really nothing that he can do...

I don't think I've ever heard any music mastered by a near deaf musician... So... This sucks!!!
