Hi everyone!
It has been a while. I had a new computer so I don't have my usual setup right now since I am moving stuff around my room and I'd like to know how is the mixing in this song for you guys? Especially the low end is what troubles me. :hunf:

I hope you all enjoy my song (which is still going to evolve some stages.. :P)

Have a nice day! :reading:

Hi Ilmari !

Well as always there's nothing wrong with your guitar playing :) I'm with you on the low end 'issue' though as the sound does seem quite 'muffled' to my ears. I'm wondering if its some sort of combination going on with the bass and percussion. Have you tried a compressor with a sideband feed from the percussion track? This may help the percussion 'punch' through the bass a little.

Looking forward to hearing where this goes! Thanks for sharing

You might be right. I was thinking about the low mids as well.. I might try cutting some low mids/lows (150-400hz) from different instruments and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the feedback once again! :+1

great playing for sure. the lows seem to be kinda missing... or undefined. kinda like it's pushed to the back or what it might sound, listening in another room. like an indirect sound. trying to feature the bass maker a tad more would help. the kick doesn't seem to be in the way... it's up an amount higher in freqs....at least what I'm hearing.
