My cover of a song by my favorite smooth jazz artist, Paul Hardcastle (aka The Jazzmasters).

As I'm trying to improve with my mixing and mastering, constructive criticism is always welcomed. :D

Thanks!

I'm a Jazzmasters fan along with The Rippingtgons, Craig Chiquico, etc. ;)

I love the mix, arrangement and your VI choices.
The bass and flute sound really good.

My one critique is that the piano sounds a bit 'plinky' lacking resonance when in the high register but that may indeed be the 'character' of certain pianos.

Nice balance between the air of the mix and the bass. Very smooth, relaxing, yet awakening.

Very nice production. I am now using the Presonus Eris 3.5 speakers with a sub and it sounds great. Very clean and punchy.
Nice playing.
