Imagine your self on rooftop during late summer... When it's not so hot anymore, the sun is lower on the sky and the light is more orange. You're standing on a roof with a girl you spent your summer with. You just talk, watch the sun go down and you know it's going to end soon. You have your last night before you...

Wow, this is very nice. :D

My forte is hard rock but I've gotten into the chill/ambient/electronica stuff in the last few years (Ryan Farish, Tycho, Enya, Ulrich Schnauss, etc.). I really like the stereo spread and spatial sounds that are used in this genre'.

I love the way your song builds and how you change the color palette throughout. ;)
Not sure I would have that much dead space and static* in the beginning - obviously you two are next to a freeway! 8-)
I really like your balance, mix and stereo panning too.

* Nothing bad, but I always smile in that as we've strived for high fidelity audio during the last few decades, artists willingly put 'noise' back into their compositions. 8-)

It's the sound you get from the edge of a city. Cars and the general hum that's present there. The roof was actually on that kind of place, so I tried to find a very similar noise.

I appreciate the compliments in regards changing the mood and colors and the sound mix. The vinyl noise is there just as a atmo filler. I think it's the only sound that doesn't have a meaning behind it.

After long time, this is a track, that I entirely based on feelings and memories Just like in the old days when I started and naively thought, that that's the only correct way to make music. I miss those days.

Thanks! I hope I'll be in mood to do more stuff like this... meaning more stories like this will happen to me. :)
