A cover of JJ Cale song After Midnight. Sounds more like Claptons version though..

This was the very first song I recorded after I set up my DAW last year. I played all guitars & bass, drums by ezdrummer. From memory, i think all of the guitar parts were done on my Variax, possibly except for the acoustics...& no real amps were used...all done on the Fender 55 Tweed Deluxe amp sim in my Apollo..

I liked it. The lead vocal being in the lower range compared to the original gave the song a different feel to me. Nice one.

Thanks Bbd. This cover started out life as an acoustic thing with some piano but i couldn't get the singer to stay sober enough to tickle the ivories....& so it changed direction.

Cheers

The tune evokes many old memories in my mind, well done. Like the little laid-back feeling....
